How to care for a boutonniere.
Boutonniere are usually worn on the left lapel. First, position the boutonniere on the left lapel, about 5” below the shoulder. Pierce behind the lapel, go through the fabric and insert into the flower stem just below the head of the flower, push through the flower stem and reinsert the pin into lapel. Repeat these steps with the second pin, inserted slightly below the other insertion.
